Lost or Mishandled Package Policy for Domestic shipments.
At GladesArmory.com, we take great care in processing and shipping your orders promptly. However, occasionally, packages may be mishandled by the US Postal Service, resulting in tracking showing the package heading to an obviously incorrect city or state or simply becoming stationary. These situations are more likely to occur during peak shipping periods, such as the busy weeks leading up to the holiday season, but they can occur at any time of the year. These mishandled packages will normally resume a track toward your mailbox after a few days.
As we strive to deliver your parts quickly and efficiently, these events are as frustrating to our customers as they are to us . While we do not have control over these Post Office operational issues, we have implemented the following policy to help address them:
- Replacement Policy: GladesArmory.com will dispatch a replacement order 15 days after it becomes apparent that the original shipment has been mishandled and tracking shows no further movement. For example, if you live in Anchorage, AK, and tracking shows your package arrived in Kennebunk, ME on the 15th but there’s no movement by the 30th, we will send a replacement package with a free Priority Mail upgrade. The 15-day moratorium will automatically reset if the package’s track shows movement.
- Expedited Replacement Order Option: If you require the parts sooner and cannot wait the 15-day period for a replacement, you can place a new order which would ship immediately. We will upgrade this second shipment to Priority Mail at no extra cost to you if you leave us a note stating that this is a replacement for a Post Office mishandled previous order. Shall the original order arrive after you placed your replacement order, please contact our customer service staff and request a free label to get the package back to us. We will gladly provide a full refund, including original shipping charges, once the part(s) are returned.
- Lost Package Refunds: If it is determined that the original package is permanently lost, we will issue a full refund (including original shipping charges) to your account after a 15-day period with no movement shown on the tracking information.
